Project meeting “Ecosystem-based solutions for hazard scenarios in the Franconian Main valley (MainPro)”

June 14, 2023

On June 13, the project team of the future EFRE project “Ecosystem-based solutions for hazard scenarios in the Franconian Main valley (MainPro)” met for a constituent meeting. MainPro contributes to the program goal of stabilizing and enhancing a greener, low-carbon Europe through adaptation strategies in forest ecosystems, essentially degraded geoecosystems in unstable slope areas, and adjacent to settlement areas. To this end, the research team focuses on current as well as future threats to geoecosystems and anthropogenic structures at selected sites in the form of multi-scale hazard scenarios.
