Pawel Kluter joined the Department of Remote Sensing as a Research Associate in November 2020. His main role is the deployment of Data Cubes in cloud environments (Front End / Back End), as well as the development of remote sensing processing routines using Python. The Department has known Pawel since his time as an EAGLE MSc student and happily welcomes him as a colleague. He conducted his master thesis on deep learning methods in ship classification using SAR imagery (TSX) in cooperation with Airbus Defence and Space. Pawel set his trajectory in remote sensing already during his undergraduate studies at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main.
