‘Data Innovation and Collaboration’ – Meeting with infas360 at DLR in Oberpfaffenhofen

Representatives from infas360 GmbH visited our colleagues at the Department ‘Georisks and Civil Security’ at the Earth Observation Center (EOC) of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Oberpfaffenhofen to explore shared interests and discuss future collaboration opportunities. The meeting focused on innovative data products bridging physical morphology of urban and rural areas with social and economic indicators.

Both parties identified strong synergies between DLR’s expertise in remote sensing for land cover and land use mapping, and infas360’s extensive multidimensional data, ranging from household-level surveys to address-based analytics. Joint opportunities were highlighted, particularly integrating infas360’s detailed social-geographic data with our remote sensing-based products to enhance urban research and practical business applications.

We thank infas360 for the productive discussion and look forward to future collaborations!
