This week, members of our EORC team were delighted to join the DLR EOC GZS Christmas party — a wonderful occasion that reflected not only holiday cheer but also the growing spirit of collaboration across our organizations. It’s inspiring to see team spirit thriving beyond formal boundaries, as colleagues from different groups come together around shared goals and innovative research ideas. This sense of unity has been greatly encouraged by Prof. Hannes Taubenböck, who serves as head of our urban EO department and GZS. His leadership continues to foster a culture of openness, collaboration, and collective purpose.
As part of the gathering, our postdoctoral researcher Dr. Ariane Droin shared insights into ongoing projects and outlined promising directions for future joint initiatives. Her presentation highlighted the strength of combining our complementary expertise and emphasized the exciting potential of deepening our research partnership.
Moments like this remind us that innovation flourishes where collaboration thrives — and we look forward to many more opportunities to work, learn, and celebrate together.
