EORC board meeting 2025

m

April 2, 2025

This week, the annual board meeting of our EORC (Earth Observation Research Cluster) took place, bringing together the members to discuss and deliberate on several strategic and organisational issues. The meeting served as a platform for board members to share insights and align on the EORC’s future direction.
A key focus was the review of ongoing initiatives and the planning of upcoming activities. Board members developed various plans, ensuring that each aligns with our broader goals and vision.
Several decisions were made regarding new internal activities, upcoming conferences, and collaborations with other JMU, national and international bodies. These EORC board meetings aim to foster innovation, increase engagement with DLR-EOC as well as within our EORC, and strengthen EORC’s role within the Earth Observation research community.
The EORC board meeting is an important step to discuss in person and commit to supporting the collaboration within all EORC topics, and driving forward the EORC agenda in applied remote sensing research.
