Today our EAGLE object based image analysis (OBIA) started, taught by our colleague Dr Michael Wurm, team leader at the DLR Earth Observation center GZS department.
Michael is covering the theory and practice of OBIA in his class and thereby broadening the skills of our international EAGLE Msc students. Being familiar with a range of coding environments and remote sensing data types plus related Earth Observation analysis routines, this topic of OBIA is offering another relevant topic in our field of research.
