Guest lecture by Dr. Torsten Riedlinger

We thank Dr. Torsten Riedlinger from the German Remote Sensing Data Center (DFD) of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) for visiting the Earth Observation Research Hub on April 26th and for giving a guest lecture at the EAGLE course “Science from wall to wall – from proposal to publication (04-GEO-SOS8). In his lecture “Earth Observation for Disaster Management Support” he reported on the European Earth Observation Programme Copernicus and he showed examples how EO contributes to crises situation across the globe.
