Nicolas Kraff defended his PhD Thesis

Nicolas Kraff defended his PhD Thesis titled “Analyse raumzeitlicher Veränderungen und ontologische Kategorisierung morphologischer Armutserscheinungen – eine globale Betrachtung mithilfe von Satellitenbildern und manueller Bildinterpretation” successfully on the 24th of May. We congratulate him very much for his achievements in the research fields of remote sensing, poverty and urbanization. Nicolas was supervised by Hannes Taubenböck and Jürgen Rauh from our Institute of Geography and Geology and Andreas Schmitt from the University of Applied Sciences in Munich.
