Prof Christian Geiß has been awarded the prestigious “DLR Exceptional Achievements in Science Award 2025” by the Executive Board of the German Aerospace Centre (DLR). This prestigious award was presented to him for his many years of excellent scientific work in the field of georisk research and for his development of methods for interpreting Earth observation data.
