New DFG project on forest monitoring

New DFG project on forest monitoring

April 8, 2022

A new DFG funded research group lead by Jörg Müller is starting this spring on forest monitoring. We will analyze different forests with different disturbances and history with airborne (UAS and plane) and space-borne Earth Observation in order to provide insights into the spatial and temporal patterns of the study sites. Most importantly we will closely work together with biologists conducting research on various topics to gain a better understanding of the whole ecosystem. More details of thie new DFG project can be found here: https://www.uni-wuerzburg.de/aktuelles/einblick/single/news/mehr-vielfalt-im-wald-1/

and more updates will be posted in due time on our news blog.
