Prof. Dr. Hannes Taubenböck was invited to give an online talk at the Eratosthenes Center of Excellence in Cyprus. The title of his presentation wasOur urban worldDynamics, dimensions and forms of global urbanization processes. He introduced urban geographic findings based on remote sensing data in combination with other data sources. In general, the capabilities were shown to reduce knowledge gaps on global urban developments and he discussed whether urbanization is good for humankind.
