Yrneh Zarit Ulloa Torrealba was awarded a scholarship from #LaKoF Bayern for the period April 2024 – March 2025.

 

This scholarship enables our PhD candidate to develop her research for detecting solid waste in urban areas, using the power of images, texts and artificial intelligence. Her PhD is in collaboration with our Earth Observation Research Cluster at the university of Würzburg, the Earth Observation Center (EOC) of the German Aerospace Center (DLR), and the Munich University of Applied Sciences.
