Remote Ethnograhy Workshop of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region

On 20th June 2023 Dr. Insa Otte gave a talk about “Remote Sensing” at the hybrid workshop “Remote Ethnograhy of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region” which was organized by Prof. Dr. Björn Alpermann  (Chair of Contemporary Chinese Studies) and held in Würzburg. The participants of the workshop were mainly Xinjiang researchers with diverse backgrounds: Social Anthropology, Sinology and Social Sciences. It was a great interdisciplinary experience with fruitful discussions offering insights into other perspectives!
