Today we welcomed our new EAGLE students in 2023 and were happy to meet all of them in person.
Many different nationalities, with diverse backgrounds gathered this morning in our seminar room and after a general introduction by Dr. Martin Wegmann and a very warm welcome by the older EAGLE students, they were guided through the EOR floor before showing them the Campus and having a joint lunch. At 1pm Prof. Hannes Taubenböck gave an inspiring Earth Observation presentation and got involved in lively discussions with the young EAGLE students. This evening all went to a joint dinner before the first course starts tomorrow early morning by Prof. Claudia Künzer on fundamentals of remote sensing.
We are very much looking forward to get to know the new EAGLE generation much better in the upcoming weeks and months!
