The University forest at Sailershausen is a unique forest owned by the University of Wuerzburg. It comes with a high diversity of trees and most important is part of various research projects.
We conducted various UAS/UAV/drone flights with Lidar, multispectral and thermal of the University forest in Sailershausen and such data is highly relevant for tree pattern analysis, geomorphology or hydrology. Within one of the projects our data is used for analysing water flow and accumulation and how the forest and changes within the forest are affecting these patterns.
