Science Slam at Vereinsheim Schwabing

Science Slam at Vereinsheim Schwabing

April 9, 2025

As part of our Science Slams contributions, we were invited by the venerable Munich cabaret theatre “Vereinsheim Schwabing” in the “zehnHOCHeins” event: https://vereinsheim.net/event/18113/

It was a humorous evening entertainingly presented by Markus Berg and Matthias Mader – two science slam veterans. At the Science Slam, science is ready for the stage: researchers show that they are not only at home in the world of complicated experiments and abstract theories, but can also present their research in an understandable and entertaining way with humour, charm and great creativity.

In the illustrious field of Science Slam winners, our representative Hannes Taubenböck presented our research work to a frenzied audience. He came second in the high-calibre competition. The winner of this event was science – the science slams succeed in bringing the complexity of our world to the wider public. As EORC and DLR, we are therefore very happy contribute.
