One of the aims of Geolingual Studies Geolingual Studies – Geolingual Studies is to ensure effective science communication beyond the scientific community and into the wider society. The Geolingual Studies team was given the opportunity to look at concepts and methods at Deutsches Museum, Munich, on 5 August 2026. The colleagues were guided through the current special exhibition Planetary Health. Research director, Dr Julia Serong, and executive director, Dr Bernhard Goodwin, of the Munich Science Communications Lab provided the team with an exclusive insight into communicating issues connected to the health of the earth and the health of the people living on it. The exhibition showcases the interrelationship between environmental changes and human activity covering highly relevant topics, such as air pollution and heat, microplastics in food and drinking water, wellbeing and landscape design, with the objective to go beyond denouncing problems by presenting possible solutions and perspectives. We would like to express our sincere thanks for the exciting introduction to this exhibition.
