January 16, 2025

On 16 January 2025, Ariane Droin, Henri Debray and Hannes Taubenböck from EORC and the EOC of DLR were invited to the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH in Vienna as part of the UrbanSky project.

The Urban Sky research project is carrying out a needs and potential analysis to identify and analyze the various possible uses of satellite data and applications for urban analysis, planning and development processes. In addition, the relevant legal and normative frameworks are identified and analyzed and necessary adjustments are recommended.

In this context, Hannes Taubenböck gave a guest presentation entitled “Earth observation for climate-neutral cities – research and services”.
