Our EAGLE M.Sc. students, coming from all over the world, are making the most of the short breaks between courses. Whether it’s spontaneous snow angel sessions or friendly snowball fights around the EORC, laughter and flying snow are never far away. These moments of fun show just how strong the sense of community is within the EAGLE program.

It’s especially great to see how naturally learning and leisure blend together here. One moment, students are deep into coding remote sensing change detection approaches; the next, they’re outside enjoying the snow together — only to return refreshed and ready to code again.

What could be better than analyzing Earth’s changes from space, stepping outside to make snow angels, and then heading back in to turn snowy inspiration into smart algorithms? At EAGLE, this balance of curiosity, collaboration, and joy is all part of the experience.
