We thank Dr. Simon Plank from the German Remote Sensing Data Center (DFD) of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) for visiting the Earth Observation Research Hub on the 17th of May and for giving a guest lecture at the EAGLE course “Science from wall to wall – from proposal to publication (04-GEO-SOS8). In his lecture “A research career in the domain of thermal and radar remote sensing for natural hazards“, he gave an insight into his work at DLR.
