Today we had the pleasure of having Gunther Schorcht from Greenspin GmbH – https://www.greenspin.de/en – as our guest. In our seminar “Science from wall to wall”, Gunther presented his career – after his studies at the JMU, he worked at our Chair of Remote Sensing for more than 5 years. Afterwards he founded the company Greenspin in 2012, which he leads today as CEO. In addition, he introduced the work of his company to our students. We thank Gunther for his openness for reporting on his current work and for showing our students an example of a career after graduation here with us.
