Meeting with THWS remote sensing

m

January 22, 2024

Today we met with Prof. Melanie Brandmeier from THWS to discuss collaboration with regard to forest mapping, landslides or vineyards monitoring. Our postdocs Dr. Sarah Schönbrodt-Stitt, Dr. Martina Wilde and Dr. Mirjana Bevanda discussed the possibilities to conduct joint research with space-borne and UAS-borne sensors in Lower Frankonia. Additionally, they discussed joint MSc thesis supervision and collaborations within hers and our projects in the region.
We are very much looking forward to more joint research with the remote sensing group at THWS.
