Before joining the University of Würzburg, Elio worked as a data scientist in Berlin. At the EORC he will conduct his PhD research on land cover changes in the Arctic under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tobias Ullmann. Elio is planning to conduct field work in the Arctic regions of Svalbard and the Mackenzie River Delta in Canada.
