March 22, 2025

Prof Carolin Biewer and Prof Hannes Taubenböck visited the ‘Department Cities’ at the London School of Economics (LSE) (https://www.lse.ac.uk/cities) in London this week. They were welcomed by Dr Philipp Rode, Executive Director of LSE Cities and Associate Professor (Education) at the School of Public Policy.

There are long-standing contacts and collaborations with colleagues from LSE Cities. Hannes was a visiting researcher there for a few months in 2019 and Carolin was there for a few weeks in 2022.

There is also an existing cooperation within the framework of Geolingual Studies: https://www.phil.uni-wuerzburg.de/gls/ Please see e.g. also here: https://remote-sensing.org/geolingual-studies-workshop-day-1/
