Former PhD student Ursula Gessner now DLR senior scientist

We are very proud to congratulate our former PhD student Dr Ursula Gessner being awarded as senior scientist at DLR. At DLR only few scientist are promoted to senior scientist –  very good publication and funding records plus staff management made her eligible for that position. She is also teamleader of the group on forest ecosystem and agriculture at the department of land surface dynamics lead by Prof Dr Claudia Kuenzer, who is also professor at our EOR.
