The Special Issue of Photogramemtrie, Fernerkundung, Geoinformation (PFG) entitled “Remote Sensing-assisted Forest Inventory” edited by Dr. Hooman Latifi from University of Würzburg and Prof. Dr. Barbara Koch from University of Freiburg has been finally published by Springer. The SI includes 6 peer-reviewed research works from international scholars summarizing the state-of-the-art in the application of spaceborne and airborne remote sensing for the inventory and analysis of forest entities.
