article accepted: Effect of Soil And Water Conservation on Vegetation in Burkina Faso

The article entitled “Usage of MODIS NDVI to evaluate the effect of soil and water conservation measures on vegetation in Burkina Faso”, which was co-authored by colleagues from WASCAL in West Africa and from the Department of Remote Sensing has been accepted for publication in Land Degradation and Development. It outlines the usage of MODIS NDVI time series to detect vegetation dynamic trends from 2002 to 2016 as effected by soil and water conservation measures in the Sahel, Sudan-Sahel and Sudan-Guinea climatic zones in Burkina Faso.
