Meeting the new forestry administration in Sailershausen

On the occasion of a cooperation with the Technical University of Munich (TUM) to investigate the microclimate on disturbed forest areas, Dr. Sarah Schönbrodt-Stitt and Dr. Julian Fäth visited the University Forest in Sailershausen. Due to the change in forestry management, Sarah and Julian also used the trip to meet the new head of the forest administration Daniel Kraus, who is on duty since March, and discussed current and planned research topics with him, including our latest project EO4CAM.

The University Forest covers around 2,300 hectares (23 square kilometers) and is the focus of numerous research projects, particularly from the University of Würzburg.
