Cinematic drone shots

Cinematic drone shots

We spend quite some time in the field conducting field work, from lidar measurements to vegetation samples in order to correlate it with remote sensing data to answer various research questions concerning global change. Field work is always a 24/7 work load and sometimes it is hard to appreciate the beauty of the landscapes we are working in. But these beautiful sceneries are always good for presentations.
When we find time and the situation allows it we therefore try to get good looking and informative images and videos. Currently our PhD student Antonio Castaneda is taking advantage of good weather conditions in the Arctic to get some valuable cinematic drone shots for our presentations, webpages or roll-ups.
This kind of work is of course always the icing of the cake during the field mission and only possible if the actual data collection is working out nicely.
