At EORC we are excited to introduce our new roll-ups, designed to offer a clear and engaging snapshot of who we are, what we do, and where we work. These visual displays highlight the breadth of our collaborations, our core research areas, and the diverse activities that shape our day-to-day work.

Our roll-ups emphasize the strength of our partnerships across institutions, disciplines, and regions. Collaboration is central to our mission, enabling us to address complex environmental and societal challenges through shared expertise and perspectives.

They also showcase our key research areas, spanning topics such as environmental monitoring, urban systems, land-use dynamics, and climate-related processes. Our work bridges scales and contexts – from dense urban environments to fragile natural ecosystems – reflecting the versatility of remote sensing as a tool for understanding our planet.

Beyond research, the roll-ups highlight the wide range of activities we are involved in. These include teaching and training the next generation of scientists, conducting fieldwork in diverse and often challenging environments, and advancing sensor analysis techniques. From hands-on data collection in the field to sophisticated data processing and interpretation, our work integrates theory and practice.

Geographically, our efforts extend across continents and climates – from projects in Africa to studies in the Arctic. This global perspective allows us to contribute to locally relevant solutions while maintaining a broader understanding of global change.

With these new roll-ups, we aim to communicate our work more effectively at conferences, workshops, and public events. They serve as an accessible entry point for anyone interested in learning more about our activities and exploring potential collaborations.

We look forward to sharing them with you during our next workshop, symposium or general visit at our EORC.
