Welcome, new EAGLEs!

Welcome, new EAGLEs!

The newest group of EAGLE students arrived in Würzburg! They come from different countries, with different backgrounds and different skills, and that’s exactly what makes this program special. Remote sensing is a big field, and it gets better when people look at it from very different angles.
Martin Wegmann welcomed everyone, and the older EAGLE students were there too: Jannis, Rosemary, Lukas, Patience, Jule and Sina. They know what it feels like to walk in on day one with a head full of questions, so it meant something that they showed up for the newcomers. Some of our lecturers also introduced themselves, giving the first-years a taste of what’s coming in the months ahead.
And Sabine was introduced as the go-to person for all EAGLE admin matters. Forms, deadlines, “who do I ask about this?” moments: she’s your first stop.
It was a calm, friendly start, which is just how we like it. To the new group: we’re glad you’re here. Settle in, ask lots of questions, and lean on each other. You’ll be surprised how quickly this turns into a team.
